Waldorf early childhood education, also known as Steiner early years education, is practiced worldwide. There are nearly 2000 Waldorf kindergartens, home programs, child care centers, and pre-schools in more than sixty countries on six continents.
The International Association for Steiner/Waldorf Early Childhood Education (IASWECE) was founded to foster cooperation among colleagues, deepen teacher education, and offer support for Waldorf early childhood education projects around the world. WECAN is a full member of the International Association and sends two representatives to the council, the main decision-making body of the Association. Click the button below to visit the IASWECE website, where you can view a directory of IASWECE members and learn more about the Association and its activities. The WECAN website will remain open in a separate window.
